Tim Tebow’s Super Bowl Ads

Thank God for commercials like this one…

Below is the post that I found on Bryan Kemper‘s blog post entitled “Warning! Warning! Warning! – Extremely Important Superbowl Warning – Join Us During The Super Bowl To Discuss The Comercial”:

We find it necessary to warn you that during the Superbowl tomorrow you will be assaulted with a very dangerous message. I am not referring to the typical Superbowl commercials that bombard you with images of scantily clad women, football-playing horses and the ever-important beer safe guarding messages. This message is so shocking and offensive the villains behind the ad have hiding its full contents so you won’t be too scandalized before it airs. The vile organization behind the ad has been called liars, racists, woman-haters, un-American and even, dare I say it? religious.
“What kind of loathsome message could this be,” you ask? What noxious smut can they be trying to show families watching the Super Bowl that would cause such a warning to issued?

Choose Life!

I feel so dirty from just having typed these life-endangering words; I might just have to throw my computer away before it infects the rest of my household with this disease.

Ok, enough sarcasm. You all know what I am talking about by now and if you don’t you must have been vacationing in Kazakhstan for the past two weeks. Tomorrow during the Superbowl the Tim Tebow Choose Life ad will finally air and you just might hear screaming and gnashing of teeth if your neighbors are pro-abortion. (Ok, I wasn’t really done with the sarcasm.)

When all the clouds clear and the dust settles, we want to know what you think about the most controversial commercial to have never been seen in history.

We hope you will sign on to our site tomorrow and discuss what you think of the ad after you’ve have seen it. Be sure and come back to http://www.bryankemper.com during the Superbowl and weigh in no matter what your opinion is.

For Christ I stand,
Bryan Kemper

To Save A Life

Can a movie change the world? No, but it can move the people who will.

To Save A Life is more than a movie. It’s the difference people can make when they use their influence and time for others — whether in their family, neighborhood, campus, community or world. To Save A Life dares — no, inspires — people to care.

To Save A Life is an indie movie about the real-life challenges of teens and the choices they face.

Ever since Jake Taylor was a kid, he was the type of guy you couldn’t help but like. For Jake, life is good. He has a ton of friends, a basketball scholarship, a hot girlfriend and a really bright future. Not much to get down about, right?

Enter Roger Dawson. He was Jake’s childhood best friend before Jake’s growing popularity pushed him out. Tired of not fitting in and having a place to belong, Roger walks onto campus and, with a gun in his pocket and pain in his heart, makes a tragic move.

Jake is devastated by what Roger has done, and something in him changes. In seeking answers in his own life, one question plagues him the most: Could I have saved him? He finds himself deeply compelled to reach out to kids on the fringe – kids who aren’t viewed as cool enough. But this decision among other things, threatens Jake’s world. He may lose his friends, his scholarship and even his reputation by asking “What do I want my life to be about?”

Did You Know?

[if you are viewing this blog post in an email, the click this link to SEE  THE POST]

It is do amazing how fast our world is advancing in technology!

Did You Know 3.0 – 2008:

Did You Know 4.0 – 2009:

In a world that is advancing so quickly, it is hard to tell what we should/should not believe.  But one thing that we can be sure of is that God is on His throne!  God is not just some distant/non-existent being; He is very real, and He is as close as you let Him be.  If you want Him to be some distant God that does not aid your day-to-day life, then just walk away from Him.  But, if you want Him to be you very help in time of need, your source of strength, your healer, your deliver, your friend, … your everything … just come unto Him.  It is YOUR choice.  For Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [Matthew 11:28]”

As our world quickly advances, the time for Jesus’ return draws nearer.  Jesus told us in Revelation 22:12-13, “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”  Christ is coming to gather those that have surrenderd their lives to Him.  He will give unto those the gift of eternal life and a new home on high in Heaven.  O’ Lord how I want to be in that number!  Those that believe in Christ Jesus will be rewarded for the works they have done.

Jesus is the only way into Heaven; there is no other way.  “I [Jesus] am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me. [John 14:6]”

Planned Parenthood Lies Exposed

This is from an email that I received from Stand True.

… WI Planned Parenthood abortion clinic, Wisconsin State Senator Glenn Grothman called on authorities to investigate and declared that state legislators should “make sure Planned Parenthood doesn’t mislead young girls like this in the future.”

In the video, both the abortion doctor and counselor repeatedly insist to a reportedly 10-week-pregnant woman that the unborn child “is not a baby” and offer several contradicting definitions of “embryo” and “fetus.” The counselor claims that the fetus’s heart does not start beating until “about seventeen or eighteen weeks.” Later the abortion doctor, Dr. Prohaska, tells the woman, “you don’t want to wait” to get an abortion and warns her, “women die having babies.”

Does God Exist?

This is a video full of truth.  The captions move a little fast; I have placed the transcript below.

Professor: I’ll prove to you if God exists, then he is evil.  Did God create everything that exists?  If God created everything, then he created the evil which means God is evil.

Student: Excuse me, professor!  Does cold exist?

Professor: What kind of question is this?  Of course it exists.  Have you never been cold?

Student: If fact sir, cold does not exist.  According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat.  Professor, does darkness exist?

Professor: Of course it does.

Student: You are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either.  Darkness is in reality the absence of light.  Light we can study, but not darkness.  Evil does not exist.  It is just like darkness and cold, God did not creat evil.  Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God’s love present in his heart.

Collide Video

I spent most of my day yesterday working on the mission trip video that will be presented in church on Sunday. I had like 500-600 pictures to go through. My goal was to keep the video under 10 minutes for time sake (for both time limit at church and time limit to upload on YouTube). I had to borrow down my picture selection to around 145 or so. That would allow me to display the photos for 4sec and also have time to put other pictures, video, and effects on the begging and end of the presentation. I am not sure how many hours I spent on editing pictures and video. [view video HERE]

When I got ready to burn the DVD, my DVD burner decides that it is not gonna work for me. I have had it for many years now, and in the past year or so it has been acting up. It will make really loud grinding noises may or may not read/write the data to/from the disk. So, I finally broke down and ordered me a new internal LG DVD burner from NewEgg that I am going to put in an external enclosure. I cannot wait to finally have a drive that will operate correctly again!

Collide Mission Trip

-PHILADELPHIA BAPTIST YOUTH MISSION TRIP-

My youth group from Philadelphia Baptist in Stanfield, NC will be going on a mission trip to Savannah, Georgia from July 25 – August 1, 2009. We will be sharing the love of God during worship, assisting with Vacation Bible School, hands-on missions activities, cultural experiences, sports camps, and light construction. In this mission effort, we will be working alongside churches that are a part of the Savannah Baptist Association.

In order to raise money for the trip, our youth group will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on Sunday, June 28, 2009. We will start serving around 5:30pm. The meal will be free of charge. Donations towards the trip are welcomed. The meal will include spaghetti (choice of several different sauces), salad, and garlic bread. There is also an option for kids to get chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. Desserts will also be available. The dinner will be held at Philadelphia Baptist Church‘s Fellowship Hall. We will stop serving around 8:00pm, so be sure to come hungry and ready to eat! [Update: Tonight we raise a little over $1000. We still need to raise more money though, but the Lord truly blessed us tonight. I would like to thank the ones that help make this possible and the ones that showed up to eat.]

We will also be holding a walk-a-thon on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 beginning at 6pm. We are asking people to sponsor our walk. If you would like to sponsor our walk, click here.[Update: The walk-a-thon went very well]

WE NEED YOUR HELP: Would you be willing to donate soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, comb, hair brush, deodorant, and white socks? Your donation of these items will be greatly received by the needy people in Savannah. By donating something so small, you can make a HUGH impact for Christ. These items will be given in the name of Jesus to those that really need them. Thanks in advance for your donations. You can give your donations to one of the youth, mail them to the church (click on the donate button below for the church address), or use the donate button to send a gift to go toward the purchase of the above items.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
